Jasper Engines and Transmissions performs extensive research and development throughout our remanufacturing processes as we work to correct inherent flaws in the design of the original engine. We implement both available updates and those which we develop through the research of our technicians and in conjunction with our high quality component vendors.
From time to time, we will offer, on our website, a detailed focus on an engine family that is used extensively in some of today’s most popular vehicles. This focus will provide you with even greater insight into our commitment to producing quality, value-oriented reman gas engines that offer proven reliability and service.
Two of these engine families, for which we are providing greater insight into our remanufacturing procedures, are the Ford Triton engine family which includes the 4.6, 5.4 and 6.8 two valve and three valve engines and the GM Gen III and IV engine family.
Triton engines have been used extensively in such popular applications as the Ford Explorer and Expedition, E Series vans and F Series trucks, Explorer Sport Trac, Mustang, Crown Vic as well as the Lincoln Mark LT, Town Car and Navigator.
Gen III and IV engines are used extensively in such popular applications as the C/K Series pick-up trucks, Tahoes, Suburbans and Yukons.
