The fuel switch used by the VSI-system controls the following functions:
- fuel choice.
- monitoring fuel supply.
- reporting errors.
The fuel switch can be operated by a touch key, the preferred fuel can be switched from petrol to LPG and vice-versa by this key. The fuel switch is also equipped with LEDs to monitor the fuel supply. When running out of LPG a low-level LED lights up. When switching back to petrol because the car ran out of LPG, the driver is being warned by an acoustic signal.
