Performance Engines: Performance Transmissions
The Class I performance transmission is equipped with a stock remanufactured torque converter and a shift kit for a firmer, more pronounced shift. The Class II performance transmission is for the serious performance minded individual who wants a transmission that will meet their particular application. These transmissions are built with heavy-duty performance in mind. Special components and procedures are matched to obtain maximum performance for your engine application. Applications include performance oriented cars and trucks, street rods and restored muscle cars, vans and towing vehicles and OEM replacement.
Class III racing transmissions are custom built for your application.

— designed for both show and racing.
Type I:
- Custom colored or polished to a chrome-like finish
- New bearings & seals
- Carbon coated synchros to reduce quick-shift grinding

Type II:
- Same as Type I unit with limited slip differential or
- Option of drag racing spool for: '90 - '01 Integra/Civic DOHC

- '90 - '97 Accord
- '92 - '01 Prelude (except S-H model)
- '88 - '00 Civic SOHC
- '90 - '01 Integra/Civic DOHC
Type III:
- Same as Type II unit, but with a 4.78 Type R final drive ring and pinion
Applications:
- '92 - '01 Integra/Civic DOHC (B-Series)
Type IV:
- Same as Type II unit, but with an ultra-low 4.92 final drive ring and pinion
Applications:
- '92 - '01 Integra/Civic DOHC (B-Series)
Type V:
- Chrome-like polished cases
- Final drive ratio up to 5.0
- Straight cut dog shift gears
- Custom gear ratios
- Choice of L-S-D or spool
Applications:
- '92 - '01 Integra/Civic DOHC (B-Series)
Warranty:
- Type I Units: 1 year unlimited mileage warranty, as they are designed for normal street driving and for show, not racing.
- Type II, III, IV, V Units: Racing applications only. No warranty.
