Thank you for your purchase of a JASPER Remanufactured Engine, Transmission, or Differential.

JASPER gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, marine products, and performance products, are produced under strict quality control procedures. In addition, JASPER adheres to the standards and tolerances of the manufacturer who originally produced the component. The reputation of our company is assured through our active membership in such organizations as the Production Engine Remanufacturers Association, the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association, Automotive Service Excellence, and the Association of Diesel Specialists.

Your JASPER product should provide the life and performance similar to a new component because it has been remanufactured, not rebuilt. All parts have been carefully inspected, machined, re-qualified or replaced.

The JASPER Premium Service Plan is an additional way we provide you, our customer, with an option of having Premium Warranty Coverage, adding even greater value to your purchase of a JASPER Remanufactured Product, and give you even greater peace of mind as you continue to enjoy your vehicle.

We have created a Premium Service Plan to supply you with coverage that includes Premium Labor Rates, Towing, Vehicle Rental and Fluid Reimbursement. This plan is available for fleets and individual consumers (see plan exclusions).

Our highly trained, in-house, ASE Certified Customer Service Representatives will help you apply this plan to your needs. Should you require warranty coverage, contact our Customer Service Department before beginning work. Authorization must be given by JASPER before any repair work is performed.

Simply call 800-827-7450. Please have your original Production Number and your Premium Service Plan Number ready when you call. (Your Premium Service Plan number is assigned and provided to you upon receipt of the completed and signed form along with your check or Money Order for the plan you choose.)

JASPER Premium Service Plan Details

The JASPER Premium Service Plan follows the same guidelines and time/mileage periods as the standard warranty of the product you purchased. This Premium Service Plan does not extend to any parts not covered under our standard warranty.

How the Premium Service Plan adds VALUE for you...

  • Premium Labor Rates - Labor will be reimbursed upon the ALL DATA/Motors book time guide at a Premium Labor Rate - your choice of up to $75.00, $95.00 or $125.00 per hour! For Marine Engines, it will also raise the Maximum Labor time up to 30 hours.
  • Towing - JASPER will reimburse a maximum of $100.00. For Marine Engines, you may choose to apply the $100.00 towards towing, haul-out fee or crane rental.
  • Rental - JASPER will reimburse up to 10 days of rental at a maximum of $35.00 per day for vehicles - just supply us with the rental agreement. Excludes 1-ton and larger applications and marine applications.
  • Fluids - JASPER will reimburse fluid costs up to $25.00 for gas engines, transmissions and differentials; and up to $50.00 for diesel engines, transmissions and differentials requiring synthetic fluids.

Required Initial Lubricant/Fluid Changes

To assure the long life and continued performance of your remanufactured component, we recommend that you follow the initial lubricant and fluid changes outlined below. Please follow the guidelines of the equipment manufacturer for lubricant and filter changes thereafter.

Gasoline Engines:
Change engine oil and filter at 500 miles (or 10 hours for a marine engine) and then at a suggested interval of every 3,000-4,000 miles or 3-4 months (40 hours or once a season for a marine engine), whichever occurs first.

Transmissions:
Change transmission fluid and filter after 5,000 miles of highway service or 100 hours of severe service.

Diesel Engines:
Oil and filter should be changed after the first 8-10 hours of highway or commercial service.

Differentials:
Change differential fluid after 5,000 miles of highway service or 100 hours of severe service. Requires lubricant meeting Gl-5, 6 or 6 MIL. SPEC. 2105D or 2105E specifications. Use appropriate additive if limited slip version. You may be required to furnish proof of these services when making a claim.

Stern Drives:
Change drive lubricant after first 10 hour break-in period.

Outboard Powerheads:
Change oil & filter at 10 hours and then at a suggested interval of 100 hours or six months of service, whichever occurs first.
