• JASPER Engines & Transmissions was founded in 1942 and today is the nation's largest mass remanufacturer of a diverse line of drive train components. Annual production includes 65,000 gas engines; 75,000 transmissions; 6,500 diesel engines; 5,000 differentials and rear axle assemblies; and 1,200 stern drives. The product mix also includes performance engines and transmissions, marine engines, stern drives and outboard lower units, alternate fuel engines and electric motors.
  
  
• JASPER is the only remanufacturer to have 3 individuals named Remanufacturer of the Year by PERA, The Production Engine Remanufacturer's Association.
  
  
• Corporate and remanufacturing operations are housed in a 367,000 sq. ft. facility located in JASPER, Indiana. Gas & diesel engines, transmissions, rear axle assemblies and differentials are processed for remanufacturing in a 367,000 sq. ft. facility and distribution center in Crawford County, Indiana, about 40 miles from JASPER. JASPER products are remanufactured in five facilities throughout the United States.
  
  
• JASPER Engines & Transmissions employs over 1580 associates. JASPER products are distributed through a network of 39 branch and distributor locations.
  
  
• Twelve full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams utilize the JASPER 4-Speed transmission. The Sprint Cup teams running the JASPER 4-Speed are the three Dodge teams of Penske Racing (#2 driven by Kurt Busch, #12 driven by Ryan Newman and #77 driven by Sam Hornish Jr.), the three Toyota teams of Joe Gibbs Racing (#11 driven by Denny Hamlin, #18 driven by Kyle Busch and #20 driven by Tony Stewart), the three Toyota teams of Michael Waltrip Racing (#00 driven by Michael McDowell, #44 driven by David Reutiman and #55 driven by Michael Waltrip) and the three Dodge teams of Chip Ganassi Racing (#40 driven by Dario Franchitti, #41 driven by Reed Sorenson and #42 driven by Juan Pablo Montoya). In addition, the Penske teams are running engines from Penske Jasper Engines in Concord, NC, and differentials built at the Jasper Engines & Transmissions facility in Jasper, IN, where the transmissions are built.
