The JASPER Rolling Showcase is taking part in one of the largest Corvette parties in the world. Every September since 1994 Mid America Motorworks celebrates Corvette Funfest at their corporate campus in Effingham, Illinois. Corvette enthusiasts have the opportunity to engage in four days of activities including: Corvette expert seminars, product displays, fashion shows, Corvette Clubs and entertainment.
What else is going on? Last night there was a Corvette Fun Run motoring back scenic area roads and through downtown Effingham. Tonight there's a charity event and tomorrow night the Surf City All Stars will perform at the Funfest Amphitheater.
Many years ago, some friends and I attended a Funfest event, needless to say we had an awesome time. So, if you're in the area and you love Corvettes, or just cars in general, stop by and check out the activities.
