This year's group of 30 and 35 Year JASPER Associates.
The Years of Service trip, September 5-7, to Indianapolis was for JASPER Associates who recently achieved 30 and 35 Years of Service. There were 55 eligible Associates. JASPER is very fortunate to have such a dedicated group of individuals.
Shooting Hoops, Pacers style!
The group toured Banker’s Life Fieldhouse and was given the chance to shoot a few hoops on the same floor where the Indiana Pacers play. After some social time and check-in at the Marriott Downtown hotel, Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre provided the evening meal and production of “Oklahoma.”
Pucker up, this group poses before kissing the bricks!
After breakfast at the hotel, the group headed to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a guided grounds tour and a lap around the track. Many Associates took the opportunity to kiss the “Yard of Bricks” at the Start/Finish line, drive through Gasoline Alley, take pictures at the Victory Podium and visit the Hall of Fame Museum. After a mouthwatering lunch at Dawsons on Main in Speedway, the afternoon was free for Associates to explore downtown Indianapolis, do a little shopping, or enjoy some down time in the hospitality suite. Next up was delicious German cuisine at the Rathskeller Restaurant.
Sunday morning breakfast in the hotel was followed by church and another sports fan’s dream stop at Lucas Oil Stadium. This stop included a walk through of the Colts locker room. Many remarked that they've been there for events but had no idea of everything behind the scenes. Sunday lunch was Italian at Buca di Beppo, followed by a visit to the Indiana State Museum where the group had time to browse the many displays of history before heading home.
A great time was had by all. JASPER appreciates the service and dedication of our Associates!
