JASPER® Offers Ford 3.7L Duratec Engine

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is excited to announce the availability of the remanufactured Ford 3.7L Duratec engine.
This dual VVT V6 engine is available for the following late-model applications:

  • 2015-2019 Transit 150, 250 & 350
  • 2011-2017 Mustang
  • 2011-2014 F150

 

“Our remanufactured Duratec engine uses JASPER-designed pistons that have many improvements, increasing both strength and durability,” said JASPER New Product Development Group Leader, Brad Boeglin. “To compliment the pistons, the ring packs are also greatly improved.”

“The top ring axial height has been increased to 1.5mm, and a physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating is added for less friction and improved longevity,” said Boeglin. “The oil ring is an upgraded two-piece design to aid in better oil control.”

The Ford 3.7L Duratec is covered by a nationwide, transferable parts and labor warranty of up to 3 Years, or 100,000 Miles. Full warranty disclosure is available on our website or upon request.

2021 JET Scholarship Recipients


Jasper Engines and Transmissions is proud to announce the winners of its annual scholarship program. 
Applicants must be dependent children of full-time JASPER Associates.  A rating system of several criteria is used to determine the recipients.

Amelia Ahner is a graduate of Jasper High School. She will attend the University of Southern Indiana majoring in Nursing. She is the daughter of Andy and Linda Ahner. Andy is a process engineer in the Jasper Production System (JPS) department.

Kylee Appman is a Heritage Hills High School graduate. She will attend the University of Southern Indiana to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. She is the daughter of Jeff and Lisa Neyenhaus.  Jeff works in the Maintenance Department at JASPER.

Dylan Bland graduated from Southridge High School and will be attending the University of Southern Indiana to earn a degree in Business Administration.  He is the son of Chad and Tresia Bland.  Chad works in JASPER’s Service Department.

Austin Brittain is a graduate of Loogootee High School. He plans to attend Indiana University and earn an Accounting and Finance degree. He is the son of Eric and Lisa Brittain.  Eric is a group leader in JASPER’s Gas Division.

Serena Cameron is a graduate of Jasper High School. She will continue her education at Vincennes University Jasper and major in Nursing. She is the daughter of Samantha Ebelhar and Michael Cameron.  Samantha works in JASPER’s Gas Division.

Taylor Denning graduated from Southridge High School. She will attend Indiana State University to earn a Teaching degree. She is the daughter of Amanda and Jody Denning.  Amanda is a group leader in JASPER’s IT Department.

Camryn Dillehay is a graduate of Greenbrier High School. She plans to attend the University of Tennessee and major in Business Finance and Marketing. She is the daughter of Jamie and Shannon Dillehay.  Jamie is warehouse operations manager at JASPER’s Nashville branch.

Erika Earls is a graduate of Willow Springs High School and plans to further her education at Missouri State University – West Plains where she’ll pursue a degree in Child and Family Development. She is the daughter of Leland and Angela Earls.  Leland is a group leader in the Gas Division at JASPER’s Willow Springs, Missouri, facility.

Mercedes Elliott graduated from Crawford County High School. She will attend Ivy Tech Community College to study Neuroscience Nursing. She is the daughter of Patricia and Rodney Elliott.  Patty works in distribution at Jasper Innovative Solutions (JIS) Division.

Ella Goeppner is a graduate of Jasper High School and plans to continue her education at Purdue University, where she will obtain a degree in Agricultural Education. She is the daughter of Glenn and Karmin Goeppner.  Glenn is a diesel mechanic in JASPER’s Service Department.

Tyler Haug is a Forest Park High School graduate. He plans to attend Ball State University where he’ll pursue a degree in Construction Management. Tyler is the son of Joe and Karen Haug. Joe is manager of JASPER’s Crawford County Transmission Division.

Victorya Hernandez is a graduate of Corydon Central High School and will continue her education at Indiana University Southeast studying Public Health. She is the daughter of Jorge and Ivonne Hernandez.  Jorge works in the Gas Division at JASPER’s Crawford County facility.

Kate Kaiser is a graduate of Jasper High School with plans to attend Purdue University to study Nursing. Kate is the daughter of Sean and Angela Kaiser.  Sean works in the Maintenance Department at JASPER.

Madison McDaniel is a Willow Springs High School graduate. She will be attending Missouri Southern to become a Radiology Tech. She is the daughter of Mitch and Beverly McDaniel. Mitch works in production support at JASPER’s Willow Springs, Missouri, facility.

Ross Mehringer is a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School and plans to continue his education at Indiana University majoring in Computer Science. He is the son of Ed and Cheryl Mehringer. Ed works in JASPER’s Diesel Division.

Monica Steckler is a graduate of Southridge High School and plans to attend Vincennes University to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. Monica is the daughter of Greg and Julie Steckler. Greg works in the Construction Department at JASPER.

Kyla Tarr is a Springs Valley High School graduate.  She plans to continue her education at the University of Southern Indiana majoring in Psychology. She is the daughter of Damon and Kris Tarr.  Damon works in the Accounts Payable Department at JASPER.

Cole Tretter is a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School and plans to attend the Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center in Indianapolis to major in Aviation Flight Technology and Finance. He is the son of Jane Tretter. Jane works in JASPER’s Accounts Payable Department.

Mike Will is a Southridge High School graduate and plans to attend Vincennes University Jasper where he’ll continue his education in Finance with a minor in Accounting. He is the son of Brian Will. Brian is a group leader in JASPER’s Customer Service Department.

Jillian Wise is a graduate of Corydon Central High School. She will continue her education at Indiana University Southeast majoring in Strategic Communications. Jillian is the daughter of Jason and Rachelle Wise. Jason is a group leader in the Quality Department at JASPER’s Crawford facility.

Kyle Busch Wins at Nashville with JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Earns 100th NASCAR Xfinity Series Victory.  Almirola, Harvick, Earn Top Five in Cup Series

Kyle Busch, running a JASPER 4-Speed transmission, won Saturday's Tennessee Lottery 250 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Nasville Superspeedway. Busch led 122 of the 189 laps: earning his 100th career series win.  Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Harrison Burton finished third, and AJ Allmendinger was fifth.  Drivers using JASPER products finished in seven of the top ten positions at the checkered flag. Aric Almirola, also running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, scored a fourth-place finish in Sunday's Ally 400 for the NASCAR Cup Series at Nashville. Stewart Haas Racing teammate Kevin Harvick was fifth, as drivers using JASPER products placed in four of the top ten positions at the finish.

Kyle Busch Wins at Texas with JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Earns 99th NASCAR Xfinity Series Victory.  Almirola Wins All-Star Open, Earns Top Ten in All-Star Race

Kyle Busch, running a JASPER 4-Speed transmission, won Saturday's Alsco Uniforms 250 Powered by Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Texas Motor Speedway. Busch led 94 of the 171 laps, and survived a late-race restart in overtime, to secure his 99th career series win.  Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Daniel Hemric finished fourth, and Brandon Jones was fifth.  Drivers using JASPER products finished in five of the top ten positions at the checkered flag. Aric Almirola, also running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, earned a spot in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race at Texas by winning the 50-lap All-Star Open.  Almirola finished eighth in the All-Star Race.  Tyler Reddick also advanced through a stage victory in the All-Star Open and finished 16th in the main event.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions Associate-Owners were treated to a celebration luncheon June 10th at each of the company’s manufacturing facilities. 
JASPER wanted to say “Thank You” for all the hard work and effort taken by Associate-Owners the last several months in trying to meet customer demand. 
“We know everyone has been working a lot of overtime, we’ve been blessed by our customers loyalty and their willingness to wait for our products,” said JASPER Chairman/CEO Doug Bawel.

Gibbs Spins & Wins at Charlotte in NASCAR Xfinity Series with a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Kyle Busch Third in Cup Series Race

Ty Gibbs, running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, won Saturday's Alsco Uniforms 300 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Gibbs recovered from a spin in the tri-oval at the end of Stage 2, then led the last 20 laps of the race to record his second series win of the season.  Harrison Burton was third as drivers using JASPER products placed in four of the top ten positions at the checkered flag.  Kyle Busch, also running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, finished third in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 for the NASCAR Cup Series at Charlotte.  Drivers using JASPER products placed in five of the top ten positions at the finish.

Martin Truex, Jr., running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, won Sunday's Goodyear 400 for the NASCAR Cup Series at Darlington Raceway.  Truex won both stages and led 248 of the race's 293 laps for his third series win of 2021.  Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Kyle Busch finished third, and Denny Hamlin was fifth, as drivers using JASPER products finished in four of the top ten places at the checkered flag.  Brandon Jones, also running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, finished third in Saturday's Steakhouse Elite 200 at Darlington for the NASCAR Xfinity Series.  Daniel Hemric finished fourth, as drivers using JASPER products placed in four of the top ten positions at the finish.
