Nord Honored for Community Service by Jasper Chamber of Commerce

Congratulations to Jason Nord, Vice President of People Services at JASPER®, who received the President’s Community Excellence Award November 7th during the annual meeting of the Jasper Chamber of Commerce.

This award is presented annually to an individual who has generously contributed their time, talents, or resources to enhance the Jasper Community, often without seeking recognition. Nominations are open to everyone and celebrate those who give what they can to make a difference in the community.

Nord has been a JASPER Associate for 28 years. He was nominated for his selflessness in various activities outside of the company. He serves as the parish president of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He is actively involved on the board of directors for local organizations, including Work One and Crisis Connection.

Nord joins a distinguished list of individuals who have received this award since its inception, which began with a posthumous recognition of JASPER founder Alvin C. Ruxer in 1991. Former JASPER Chairman Gervase Schwenk was honored with the award in 2009.
