Jasper Engines and Transmissions is proud to announce the winners of its annual scholarship program. Applicants must be dependent children of full-time JASPER Associates. A rating system of several criteria is used to determine the recipients.  Congratulations to all scholarship recipients.

Bailey Anderson is a graduate of Forest Park High School. She will attend Vincennes University majoring in Agribusiness. She is the daughter of Bryon and Christie Schnieder. Bryon works at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in Production Support.

Jayka Brown graduated from Paoli High School. She plans to attend Indiana State University to earn a degree in Biology with a Medical Technology Specialization. She is the daughter of Jon and Rachel Brown. Jon works at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in Production Support.

Elijah Buechler is a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. He will attend Vincennes University Jasper to earn a degree in Business Management and Personal Training. He is the son of Kent and Kristie Buechler. Kent is the Maintenance Department Manager at JASPER’s Headquarters facility. 

Brittany Chevez graduated from Jasper High School. She will continue her education at the University of Southern Indiana where she will major in Accounting. She is the daughter of Indaura and Jose Chevez. Indaura is in the Gas Division at JASPER’s Headquarters facility.

Ella Clark is a graduate of Jasper High School and plans to attend Indiana State University where her major is Kinesiology. She is the daughter of Chad Clark. Chad works in the Inside Sales Department.

Hayden Clark graduated from Jasper High School and plans to attend Indiana University to major in Human Biology. He is the son of Chad Clark. Chad works in the Inside Sales Department.

Brayden Crain graduated from Corydon Central High School and plans to attend Purdue University. He will be pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and is the son of Elizabeth and Daniel Crain. Elizabeth works in the Crawford Gas Division of JASPER.

Delilah Crecelius is a graduate of Crawford County High School. She will further her education at Ivy Tech Community College to study Sonography. She is the daughter of Michelle and Jonathon Crecelius. Michelle is in People Services at JASPER’s Crawford location.

Zoey Crecelius is a graduate of Crawford County High School. She will attend Penn Foster/Ivy Tech Community College to pursue a degree in Animal Science. She is the daughter of Michelle and Jonathon Crecelius. Michelle is in People Services at JASPER’s Crawford facility.

Rebekah Doane is a Washington Catholic High School graduate. She plans to attend Vincennes University to obtain a degree in Business Administration. She is the daughter of Matthew and Robin Doane. Matthew is in the Process Control/Sales Support Department at JASPER’s HQ facility. 

Elizabeth Firzlaff is a graduate of Hudson High School in Ohio. She is the daughter of Doug Firzlaff and Rochelle Marson. She plans to continue her education at Miami University – Ohio and pursue a degree in Psychology. Doug is an Outside Sales Representative at JASPER’s Cleveland branch.

Rebeca Gutierrez Dubon is a graduate of Southridge High School. She will continue her education at the University of Southern Indiana majoring in Radiology. She is the daughter of Jose Gutierrez Hernandez and Eloisa Dubon. Jose works in the Differential Division and Eloisa works in the Transmission Division, both at JASPER’s Power Drive facility. 

Addison Harris is a Crawford County High School graduate and plans to attend Indiana University Southeast, majoring in Nursing. She is the daughter of Joshua and April Harris. Joshua works in the Gas Division at JASPER’s Crawford facility.

Taylor Heeman graduated from Pike Central High School. She will attend Vincennes University Jasper to pursue a degree in Psychology. She is the daughter of Robert and Brittany Heeman. Robert works at JASPER’s HQ facility in Distribution.

Gavin Jones is a graduate of Jasper High School and is the son of Thad and April Jones. He will attend the University of Southern Indiana to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. Thad is a Group Leader at Jasper Electric Motors. 

Grace Kluesner graduated from Northeast Dubois High School and is the daughter of Audrey and Ricardo Bravo. Grace plans to attend Ivy Tech Community College and major in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Audrey is in the Gas Division and Ricardo is a JPS Instructor, both at JASPER’s Headquarters facility.

Jonah Kuczynski graduated from Jasper High School. He will further his education at Purdue University pursuing a degree in Business Management. He is the son of Kyle and Amanda Kuczynski. Kyle is in the Finance Department at JASPER’s Headquarters facility.

Taryn Lamkin is a Forest Park High School graduate. She plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana and major in Social Work. She is the daughter of Brandon Lamkin and Amanda Calderon. Brandon is at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the Gas Division.

Matthew Lashley graduated from Barr-Reeve High School and will pursue a degree in Business Management at the University of Southern Indiana. He is the son of Beth and Jeremy Lashley. Beth is at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the Process Control/Sales Support Department.

Brianna Lopez is a graduate of Jasper High School. She will attend the University of Evansville majoring in Political Science. She is the daughter of Dora Delmy Lopez. Dora works at JASPER’s Power Drive facility in the Transmission Division.

Collin Lorey is a Forest Park High School graduate. He plans to attend Ivy Tech Community College to major in Industrial Technology – Mechanical. He is the son of Amy and Duane Lorey. Amy is at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the IT Department.

Paige Mattingly is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School. She plans to continue her education at Western Kentucky University and major in Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Lindsey and Tom Schneider, and William Mattingly. Lindsey is in Inside Sales at JASPER’s Headquarters facility.

Chase Niehaus is a Forest Park High School graduate. He plans to attend Purdue University to major in Computer Science. He is the son of Brandon and Lisa Niehaus. Brandon is at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the IT Department.

Carson Powell is a graduate of Jasper High School. He plans to continue his education at Purdue University to major in Horticulture (Landscape Design) and Agriculture Business. He is the son of Kevin and Melanie Powell. Kevin is the Director of Branch Operations at JASPER’s Headquarters facility.

Olivia Rasche is a Southridge High School graduate. She will attend Rose Hulman Institute of Technology to study Electrical Engineering. She is the daughter of Nathan and Lisa Rasche. Nathan works at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the IT Department. 

Olivia Rodriguez is a graduate of West Plains High School in Missouri. She plans to attend Missouri State University – West Plains to study Early Childhood Education. She is the daughter of Eric and Alexis Rodriguez. Eric works in the Transmission Division at JASPER’s Willow Springs facility. 

Sierra Shepard is a Linton-Stockton High School graduate. She will attend the University of Southern Indiana and plans to study Psychology. She is the daughter of Marky Shepard and Derrick and Tara McDonald. Derrick works at JASPER’s Crawford facility in JET Transit. 

Zoe Shrubb is a graduate of West Plains High School in Missouri. She will continue her education at William Woods University to study Psychology and Sports Management. She is the daughter of Gary Bittick and Melanie Shrubb. Gary works in the Distribution Department at JASPER’s Willow Springs facility.

Brookelyn Staats is a Heritage Hills High School graduate. She plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana to study Nursing. She is the daughter of Robert and Lulu Staats and Gina Mullen. Lulu works at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the Maintenance Department. 

Heith Steckler is a graduate of Southridge High School. He will continue his education at Vincennes University and will study Advanced Manufacturing Robotics and Mechatronics. He is the son of Greg and Julie Steckler. Greg works in Construction and Julie works in Facility Maintenance, both at JASPER’s Headquarters facility. 

Madeline Tuggle is a Forest Park High School graduate. She will attend Indiana University to study Psychology. She is the daughter of Brett and Jennifer Tuggle. Brett works at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the Construction Department. 

Caleb Voegerl is a graduate of Forest Park High School. He will continue his education at Vincennes University Jasper to pursue a degree in Electronics Technology and General Technology. He is the son of Brian and Teresa Voegerl. Brian works in the Gas Division and Teresa is the Fleet & National Programs Project Manager for Outside Sales, both at JASPER’s Headquarters facility. 

Hayden Werner is a Fishers High School graduate. He plans to attend Maryville University to study Sports Management. He is the son of Matt Wener and Ashley Darr. Matt is the Sales Manager at JASPER’s Indianapolis branch.

Pieper Werner is a graduate of Jasper High School. She plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana to study Nursing. She is the daughter of Brian Werner and Amy Ingle. Amy works at JASPER’s Headquarters facility in the Production Support Department.
