Paid Time Off / Unpaid Time Off / Paid Holidays
In keeping with JASPER’s dedication to our Mission Statement “Do it Right… And Have Fun!”, special emphasis is placed on Paid Time Off (PTO) so that Associate-Owners may enjoy periods of rest and relaxation with family and friends. JASPER’s PTO program is designed for the mutual benefit of everyone. PTO is offered in full day, half day and even hourly increments to allow for flexibility in Associates-Owner’s schedules.
JASPER also provides all full-time hourly Associate-Owners with Unpaid Time Off (UPTO). UPTO is unpaid absence from work that does not fall under JASPER’s attendance program. Associate-Owners may use UPTO in hourly increments or to cover a half-day or full day.
JASPER also understands how special the holidays are to our Associate-Owners and their families. To provide additional time off, JASPER observes nine (9) paid holidays each year. We observe the traditional holidays and also include Good Friday and the day after Thanksgiving.
JASPER has also set aside time for Associates to visit our JASPER HealthWoRx on-site clinic and health center during the workday when the need calls for it, or to visit one-on-one with our company Chaplain.
