Bowyer 2nd at Bristol with JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Briscoe 2nd in Xfinity Series
Clint Bowyer, running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, finished second in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Food City presents the Supermarket Hereos 500. Kyle Busch finished fourth, and Erik Jones was fifth, as drivers using JASPER products finished in five of the top ten positions at the checkered flag. Chase Briscoe, also running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, finished second in Monday's NASCAR Xfinity Series Cheddar's 300 presented by Alsco. Brandon Jones finished third, and Harrison Burton was fourth, as drivers using JASPER products placed in four of the top ten positions at the finish. Both races were held at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch 4th at Charlotte in NASCAR Cup Series with JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Wins NASCAR Xfinity Series Race
Kyle Busch, running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, finished fourth in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Kevin Harvick was fifth, as drivers using JASPER products finished in four of the top ten positions at the checkered flag. Kyle Busch returned to Charlotte Monday and won the NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300. Busch led a race-high 94 of the 208 laps, but had to make a last lap pass in overtime to claim his first series win of 2020, and the 97th series win of his career. Ross Chastain was fourth, as drivers using JASPER products took three of the top ten places at the finish.

Briscoe Takes NASCAR Xfinity Series Win at Darlington with JASPER 4-Speed Transmission
Chase Briscoe, running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, held off Kyle Busch to win Thursday's NASCAR Xfinity Series Toyota 200 at Darlington Raceway. The victory was Briscoe's second series win of 2020, and marked the return of NASCAR Xfinity Series racing since March 7th. Drivers using JASPER products finished in four of the top ten positions at the checkered flag.

Hamlin, Busch and Harvick Sweep Darlington Podium with JASPER 4-Speed Transmissions
Drivers using the JASPER 4-Speed Transmission took four of the top five finishing positions in Wednesday night's NASCAR Cup Series Toyota 500 at Darlington Raceway. Denny Hamlin scored his second series win of 2020 as rain stopped the race 20 laps shy of its scheduled 228 lap (500k) distance. Kyle Busch was second, Kevin Harvick was third, and Erik Jones was fifth. Drivers using JASPER products finished in six of the top ten positions at the checkered flag.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions Announces Scholarship Award Winners for 2020
Jasper Engines and Transmissions is proud to announce the winners of its annual scholarship program. Applicants must be dependent children of full-time JASPER Associates. A rating system of several criteria is used to determine the recipients.
Cassandra Beier is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School. She will attend Vincennes University Jasper majoring in Nursing. She is the daughter of Kevin and Carrie Beier. Kevin works in the Diesel Division at JASPER.
Connor Campbell is a Heritage Hill High School graduate. He will attend Murray State University to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is the son of Brian and Dana Campbell. Brian is a Quality Captain at JASPER’s Crawford County facility.
Stephanie Comfort is a graduate of Mahtomedi High School. She plans to attend the University of Minnesota and earn an Environmental Education degree with a minor in Environmental Science. She is the daughter of Jeff and Julie Comfort. Jeff is a Delivery Driver at JASPER’s St. Paul branch.
Meghan Dale graduated from Forest Park High School and will be attending the Ball State University to earn a Fashion Merchandising degree. She is the daughter of Brian Dale and Lisa Dale. Brian is the Department Manager for JASPER’s JET Transit Division.
Melisa Dubon is a graduate of Southridge High School. She will continue her education at the University of Evansville and major in Music Therapy with a Psychology minor. She is the daughter of Edith and Jose Dubon. Edith works in JASPER’s Transmission Division.
Reagan Egbert graduated from Jasper High School. She will attend Franklin College to pursue a degree in Exercise Science. She is the daughter of Jeff and Pam Egbert. Jeff works in JASPER’s Production Support as a Group Leader.
Jackson Figiel is a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School. He plans to attend Auburn University and major in Business. He is the son of Scott and Janine Figiel. Scott is an Outside Sales Manager for Jasper Innovative Solutions.
Nicolas Ford is a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School and plans to further his education at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy where he’ll pursue an Engineering degree. He is the son of Rick and Kathryn Ford. Rick is an Outside Sales Rep at JASPER’s Philadelphia Branch.
Zowie Hayes graduated from Willow Springs High School. She will attend the University of Missouri Kansas City to become a Pharmacist. She is the daughter of Dale Hayes and Catherine Dela Cruz. Dale works in the Gas Division at JASPER’s Willow Springs Facility.
Brian D. Hendrickson will graduate from Randolph High School and continue his education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he will obtain a degree in Computer Science. He is the son of Brian K. and Joanna Hendrickson. Brian is an Outside Sales Rep at JASPER’s New Jersey Branch.
Ben Hochgesang is a Jasper High School graduate. He plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana where he’ll pursue an Engineering degree. Ben is the son of Marla and Jeff Hochgesang. Marla is a Software Engineer in the IT Department at JASPER.
Paige Kendall is a graduate of Southridge High School and will continue her education at the University of Indianapolis studying Communications and International Studies/German Language. She is the daughter of Scott and Kim Kendall. Scott is an Engineer in JASPER’s Product Development Department.
Cam Kilian will graduate from Jasper High School and attend Indiana University to study Accounting/Finance. Cam is the son of Mike and Dawn Kilian. Mike is a Purchasing Agent for JASPER.
Gavin Knust is a Forest Park High School graduate. He will attend Indiana University Southeast to pursue a degree in business. Gavin is the son of Steve and Melissa Knust. Steve works in JASPER’s Maintenance Department.
Hannah Kress is a graduate of Jasper High School and plans to continue her education at Vincennes University Jasper majoring in education with a special education minor. She is the daughter of Jill Kress and Nick Kress. Jill works in JASPER’s Indiana Tool & Die Division.
Abby Lindauer will graduate from Southridge High School and plans to attend Vincennes University Jasper where she’ll major in Technical Maintenance. Abby is the daughter of Fred and Amy Lindauer. Fred is a Team Leader in the Differential Division at JASPER.
Preston Lockwood is a North Posey High School graduate. He plans to continue his education at the University of Southern Indiana majoring in Engineering. He is the son of Michael Gardner and Joelle Lockwood. Michael is a Quality Captain at JASPER’s Power Drive Facility.
Antonio Loya, Jr. is a graduate of Jasper High School and plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana to major in Writing while minoring in Foreign Language/History. He is the son of Elizabeth and Antonio Loya. Elizabeth works in the Transmission Department at JASPER.
Breann Mehringer is a Jasper High School graduate and plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana where she’ll continue her education in nursing with a minor in nutrition. She is the daughter of Mark and Tammy Mehringer. Mark works in the Finance/Accounting Department at JASPER.
Jackson Miller is a graduate of Jasper High School. He will continue his education at IUPUI majoring in Marketing. Jackson is the son of Jason and Andrea Hulsman and Mike and Autumn Miller. Jason is JASPER’s Director of Marketing.
Hannah Schnuck is a Heritage Hills High School graduate. She will attend the University of Southern Indiana where she’ll earn her degree in Business Management with a minor in Sociology/Psychology. She is the daughter of Janie Schnuck and Greg Schnuck. Janie is a JASPER Inside Sales Rep.
Samantha Stout will graduate from Forest Park High School and continue her education at the University of Southern Indiana majoring in social work. She is the daughter of Sharon Stout and Gary Stout. Sharon is a Welder in JASPER’s Indiana Tool & Die Division.
Marcus Stroud is a Paoli High School graduate and will attend the University of Southern Indiana where he is studying for an Electrical Engineering degree. He is the son of Marty and Suann Stroud. Marty works in the Gas Division of JASPER’s Crawford County Facility.
Mary Grace Wagner will graduate from Northeast Dubois High School. She will continue her education at Vincennes University Jasper. She is currently undecided on her major. Mary Grace is the daughter of Matt and Lisa Wagner. Matt works in the Diesel Division at JASPER.
