The 10R80 transmission family is widely used in popular applications such as the Ford F150, Expedition, Transit and Lincoln Navigator.
The 10R80 transmission family is prone to issues that include: C-D-F drum failure. The original aluminum C-D-F drum has a pressed-in sleeve that is prone to move causing the sealing ring to not seal properly which results in transmission slippage or gear ratio codes. JASPER installs a 100% updated stepped-design drum assembly. This design prevents the sleeve from sliding in the bore.
Each converter is dynamically balanced. The external converter shell is balanced independently of the converter stator and turbine to ensure the converter is accurately balanced.

JASPER remanufactures the solenoid pack and replaces all seals with NEW seals. It is then tested on a state-of-the-art test machine prior to installation to assure proper operation.
Each converter is dynamically balanced. The external converter shell is balanced independently of the converter stator and turbine to ensure the converter is accurately balanced.
Each solenoid pack and range sensor is tested to ensure proper function.
